2. Shipping Terms & Conditions
Applicable to All Freight Transport Services Offered by MG Logistics Group Inc
Services Covered:

Dry Freight & General Goods
-
Temperature-Controlled (Reefer)
-
Specialized Transport upon agreement
Transit Commitments:
-
We strive for timely pickups and deliveries. However, delays caused by weather, mechanical failure, traffic, or acts of God are not the responsibility of MG Logistics Group Inc.

All transit times are estimates unless explicitly stated in a signed contract.
Cargo Liability:
-
Standard cargo is covered in accordance with 49 CFR Part 370 and FMCSA Cargo Claims regulations.

Claims must be filed within 9 months of delivery or incident, accompanied by a signed Proof of Delivery (POD) and invoice.
-
Temperature-sensitive cargo must be documented with reefer temperature logs.
Shipper Responsibilities:

Properly label and package freight
-
Ensure accurate weight and commodity declarations
-
Provide accessorial instructions prior to pickup (detention, lumper, etc.)
Limits of Liability:

MG Logistics Group Inc is not liable for:
-
Consequential or special damages
-
Shipper/consignee-caused delays
-
Unforeseen unloading restrictions
-
Border/customs delays (for international freight)
-
3. Carrier & Owner-Operator Lease-Onboarding Terms
For Owner-Operators Contracted by MG Logistics Group Inc
Qualification Requirements:
-
Valid CDL (Class A) and clean MVR
-
Current DOT medical card
-
FMCSA/DOT-compliant equipment (preferably 2018+)
-
Minimum 2 years verifiable experience (reefer/dry freight preferred)
Equipment Standards:
-
Must pass DOT inspection
-
MG decals and branding must be displayed (as required)
-
Automatic or Manual transmission accepted (2025/2026 spec preferred)
Lease Terms:
-
Owner-Operators lease on under MG Logistics Group Inc’s MC authority
-
Weekly settlements; 24–48hr carrier support
-
Access to dedicated freight lanes and dispatch services
-
Optional fuel card, maintenance accounts, and ELD support
Compliance Expectations:
-
Strict adherence to HOS, FMCSA, and CSA BASICs safety scores
-
Timely reporting of inspections, violations, and accidents
-
Immediate communication for reefer breakdowns or trailer damage
Termination:
-
7-day written notice required (except in cases of misconduct)
-
Final settlement issued within 7 business days post-equipment return
-
Violations of compliance may result in immediate contract termination
